Standby
To initiate Standby:
» Select Standby.
Hibernate
To initiate Hibernation if Hibernation is enabled:
» Select Hibernate.

Hibernation is enabled by default. If Hibernation is not
enabled, selecting Hibernate initiates Standby.
To verify that Hibernation is enabled:
» Select Start > Control Panel > Performance and
Maintenance > Power Options > Hibernate tab.
If Hibernation is enabled, the Enable Hibernation check box is
selected.
Shut Down
To immediately close the operating system and shut down the
system:
» Select Shut Down. You are not prompted to confirm this
action.
Power Controls
To open the operating system Power Options Properties window:
» Select Power Controls.
Tablet PC Settings (Default)
To open the operating system Tablet and Pen Settings window:
» Select Tablet PC Settings.
