Using the Pointing Stick
To move the pointer, press the pointing stick in the direction
you want to move the pointer. Use the left and right pointing stick
buttons as you would the left and right buttons on an external
mouse.

Right TouchPad button* Functions like the right button on an
external mouse.

Left TouchPad button* Functions like the left button on an
external mouse.

TouchPad* Moves the pointer and selects or
activates items on the screen. Can be
set to perform other mouse functions,
such as scrolling, selecting, and
double-clicking.

Left pointing stick button Functions like the left button on an
external mouse.

functions of TouchPad features, refer to the “Setting Pointing Device
Preferences” section in this chapter.
