TYPICAL SPECIFICATION
Ventilator shall be Broan Model 504 (Model 505).
Ventilator shall duct vertically, to an outside roof cap. Can be
controlled with toggle switch (speed control).
Ventilator shall have galvanized steel housing.
Motor assembly shall be removable and permanently
lubricated. RPM shall not exceed 1630 (Model 504),
(2270 RPM – Model 505).
Air delivery shall be no less than 330 CFM and sound levels
no greater than 8.0 Sones (Model 504) (200 CFM and 8.5
Sones – Model 505). All air and sound ratings shall be
certified by HVI. Model 504 shall be U.L. Listed and Model
505 cULus Listed.

HVI-2100 CERTIFIED RATINGS comply with
new testing technologies and procedures
prescribed by the Home Ventilating Institute,
for off-the-shelf products, as they are available
to consumers. Product performance is rated at
0.1 in. static pressure, based on tests conducted
in a state-of-the-art test laboratory. Sones are
a measure of humanly-perceived loudness,
based on laboratory measurements.
