PREPARE THE HOOD Unpack hood and check contents. INSTALL THE DUCTWORK (DUCTED HOODS ONLY) ROOF CAP NOTE: To reduce the risk of fire, use only metal ductwork. 1. Decide where the ductwork will run between the hood and the outside. 2. A straight, short duct run will allow the hood to perform most efficiently. 3. Long duct runs, elbows, and transitions will reduce the performance of the hood. Use as few of them as possible. Larger ducting may be required for best performance with longer duct runs. 4. Install a roof or wall cap.
INSTALL MOUNTING BRACKET FRAMING BEHIND DRYWALL 1. Construct wood wall framing that is flush with interior surface of wall studs. Make sure: a) the framing is centered over installation location. b) the height of the framing will allow the mounting bracket to be secured to the framing within the dimensions shown. 2. After wall surface is finished, secure mounting bracket to framing using dimensions shown.
PREPARE THE HOOD Note: On stainless steel hoods, carefully remove the plastic protective film from all exterior surfaces of the hood and decorative flues, prior to final installation. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM PLATE DUCTED CONFIGURATION 1. Remove the tape on the electrical system plate; place the electrical system plate on the hood (use a protection). Fig. 5 2. PREPARE THE HOOD NON - DUCTED CONFIGURATION Note: The following materials must be purchased separately for non-ducted recirculation installations. • Non - Ducted Recirculation Kit, Model NDK7388 • 5” diameter expandable / flexible aluminum duct. • 1/16” diameter twist drill. CAUTION: Do not use plastic or rigid metal ducting. 1. Remove the tape on the electrical system plate; place the electrical system plate on the hood (use a protection). NON-DUCTED RECIRCULATION FILTER INSTALLATION 1. Purchase a non-ducted recirculation filter (B03300488) from your dealer. 2. Install the filter by pressing the 2 tabs on the filter down into the special housing and rotating upward. NON-DUCTED RECIRCULATION FILTER MAINTENANCE Proper maintenance of the Range Hood will assure proper performance of the unit.
OPERATION Controls The hood is operated using the (4) pushbuttons located at eye-level, on the front edge of the hood. The light switch turns the halogen lights on and off. Push the light switch once to turn the lights ON - push a second time to turn the lights ON to a brighter level - push a third time to turn the lights OFF. LIGHT SWITCH DISPLAY TIMER SWITCH RESET SWITCH BLOWER SWITCH The timer switch turns the blower timer on and off. Push this switch once to turn the timer ON.
HALOGEN BULBS This range hood requires two halogen bulbs (Type JC, 12Volt, 20Watt Max, G-4 Base). ALWAYS SWITCH OFF THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY OPERATIONS ON THE APPLIANCE. To change bulbs: 1. Open the cover by prying from the proper slots. - DO NOT ROTATE. CAUTION: BULB MAY BE HOT! 3. Replace with a Type JC, 12Volt, 20Watt Max, G-4 Base bulb.

INSTALLATION ETRIER D’ASSEMBLAGE CADRE POUR LE MUR 1. Construisez un cadre en bois pour le mur dont les vis-pivot ne dépassent pas. Assurez-vous: a) que le cadre est centré au-dessus de l’emplacement de l’installation. b) la hauteur du cadre permettra que l’étrier d’assemblage soit fixé au cadre en respectant les dimensions indiquées. 2. Après avoir terminé la surface du mur, fixez l’étrier d’assemblage au cadre en respectant les dimensions qui sont indiquées.
PRÉPARATION DE LA HOTTE PANNEAU DU SYSTÈME ÉLECTRIQUE Remarque : si la hotte est en acier inoxydable, retirez précautionneusement le film protecteur des surfaces extérieures et des carneaux décoratifs avant de terminer l’installation. CONFIGURATION CARÉNÉE 1. Enlevez le ruban adhésif sur le panneau du système électrique; placez le panneau du système électrique sur la hotte (utilisez une protection). Fig. 5 2. PRÉPARATION DE LA HOTTE ESPACEMENT CONFIGURATION NON CARÉNÉE (suite). 7. Placez précautionneusement le carneau décoratif inférieur dans la partie de la hotte en retrait (fig. 7). 8. Faites glisser lentement le carneau décoratif à l’intérieur du conduit inférieur. Remarque: les prises d’air doivent être tournées vers le haut (fig.7). 9. Fixez l’espacement de recirculation au carneau supérieur au moyen de quatre (4) vis à tête fraisée. (fig. 10).
ASSEMBLAGE DU FILTRE POUR (MODELERECYCLANTL’AIR) 1. Procurez-vous un filtre à charbon (B03300488) chez votre fournisseur. 2. Installer le filtre en enfilant les 2 languettes du filtre dans le logement prévu à cet effet et en le faisant tourner vers le haut. ENTRETIEN Un bon entretien de votre hotte garantira une excellente performance.

INSTALACION SOPORTE PARA EL MONTAJE ESTRUCTURA DE MADERA EN LA PARED 1. Construya una estructura de madera en la pared que quedará nivelada con la parte interior de los tacos en la pared. Asegúrese de que: a) La estructura se encuentra centrada por encima de la instalación del tubo. b) La altura de la estructura permite fijar el soporte para el montaje en esta estructura siguiendo las dimensiones indicadas. 2.
PREPARACIÓN DE LA CAMPANA PLACA DEL SISTEMA ELÉCTRICO Nota: En campanas de acero inoxidable, antes de llevar a cabo la instalación final, retire cuidadosamente la película protectora de plástico de todas las superficies exteriores de la campana y de las salidas de humo decorativas. PREPARACIÓN DE LA CAMPANA PLENO CONFIGURACIÓN SIN CONDUCTO, continuación 7. Coloque con cuidado la salida de humos decorativa inferior en el área empotrada de la parte superior de la campana de cocina. Fig. 7. 8. INSTALACION DEL FILTRO (CONFIGURACION SIN TUBO) 1. Compre un filtro al carbón (B03300488) a su proveedor habitual. 2. Instalen el filtro introduciendo las dos lengüetas del filtro en el alojamiento a tal efecto y haciendo que gire hacia arriba. MANTENIMIENTO FILTRO AL CARBÓN Un mantenimiento adecuado de la campana asegura el funcionamiento correcto del aparato.
FUNCIONAMIENTO Mandos La campana se pone en funcionamiento accionando los mandos situados a la altura de los ojos en el frontal de la campana. INTERRUPTOR PANTALLA El interruptor luz enciende y apaga las LUZ lámparas halógenas. Pulsando la tecla una INTERRUPTOR vez, la luz se enciende a intensidad 1, MOTOR pulsándolo una segunda vez, la luz se INTERRUPTOR INTERRUPTOR enciende a intensidad 2 (luz más intensa) REINICIALIZACIÓN TEMPORIZADOR y, pulsándolo otra vez más, la luz se apaga completamente.
LAMPARAS HALOGENAS Este tipo de campana necesita dos (2) lámparas halógenas (Tipo JC, 12Volt, 20Watt Max, G-4 Base). ANTES DE PROCEDER A CUALQUIER OPERACIÓN, ES NECESARIO DESCONECTAR EL APARATO. Para cambiar las lámparas: 1. Abra la tapa haciendo palanca sobre las hendiduras apropiadas. NO LA GIRE. ATENCIÓN: LAS LÁMPARAS PUEDEN ESTAR CALIENTES. 2. Sustituir con lámparas del mismo tipo (JC, 12Volt, 20Watt Max, G-4 Base). No toque la lámpara de repuesto con las manos desnudas.
