Installation Guide

1. Unplug the unit.
2. Cut a 2³/8” x 1³/8” hole in a wall at a convenient
location for the wall control. Route a cable (type
22/4) for the wall control from the unit to this
hole.
3. Temporarily place the wall control over the hole
and mark both mounting screw hole positions.
4. Remove the wall control, drill both screw holes
(3/16” Ø) in the wall and insert the included wall
anchors.
5. Strip the end of the cable to access the wires.
NOTE: Although this is a 4-wire cable, only 3 of them will be used for connection.
6. Strip the end of 3 wires. Connect the wires to the terminals, regardless of
the wire color: one wire to “OL’’, another one to “OC’’ and one to “I’’. Note
which wire color has been chosen for each terminal. See illustration below.
7. Mount the wall control to the wall.
8. Perform the electrical connection to the terminal connector of the unit,
as shown below. For more details, refer to the installation manual of the
ventilation unit.
NOTE: To avoid miswiring, refer to the notes about the color of the wires taken
on step 6.
9. Plug the ventilation unit and test the wall
control (A). The LED indicator will turn on
to indicate that the unit is working. Push the
button again to turn the unit OFF. UNIT WILL
REMAIN POWERED, but will not work.
NOTE: Keep in mind that the unit is designed to
ventilate at the best time of the day and may
not continuously ventilate even though the
wall control LED indicator is ON.
