Tracking and Controlling Switch Changes

The output from the track changes feature is dumped to the system message log for the switch. Use the
errDump or errShow command to view the log.
Items in the system message log created from the track changes feature are labeled TRCK:
To display the status of the track changes feature
1. Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
2. Enter the trackChangesShow command.
The status of the track changes feature is displayed as either on or off. The display includes whether
the track changes feature is configured to send SNMP traps:
To view the switch status policy threshold values
1. Connect to the switch and log in as admin.
2. Enter the switchStatusPolicyShow command at the command line.
Whenever there is a switch change, an error message is logged and an SNMP
connUnitStatusChange trap is sent.
SilkWorm 200E, 3250, 3850, 3900, 4012, and 4100 switches: The output is similar to the following:
SilkWorm 3016: Because this model has no power supplies or fans, they are not listed in the output.
