DHCP Config commands
Defines the DHCP option used in DHCP pools
Supported in the following platforms:
• Mobility RFS4000 Controller
• Mobility RFS6000 Controller
• Mobility RFS7000 Controller
Syntax
option <option-name> [<IP>|<option-name>]
Parameters
Usage Guidelines
Defines non standard DHCP option codes (0-254)
NOTE
An option name in ASCII format accepts backslash (\) as an input but is not displayed in the output
(Use
show runnig config to view the output). Use double backslash to represent a single
backslash.
Example
RFController(config)#ip dhcp option option189 189 ascii
RFController(config)#
option name [<IP>|
<option-name>]
Sets raw DHCP options
• <option-name> – Sets the name of the DHCP
option
• <IP> – Sets the IP value of the DHCP option
• <option-name> – Sets the ASCII value of the
DHCP option
