Description
This command verifies the on-chip SRAM located in the 2-Gb ASIC using the
Turbo-Ram BIST circuitry. These same SRAMS are tested by portRegTest
and sramRetentionTest using PCI operations, but for this test the BIST
controller is able to perform the SRAM write and read operations at a much faster
rate. It is also able to test one SRAM in each quadrant of every chip in parallel.
The following RAMs/CAMs are tested using TurboRAM test logic:
■ TX Buffer List Descriptor RAM
■ TX Q Arb Loop FIFO RAM
■ Statistics RAM
■ ALPA Match RAM
■ External Unicast Routing Table RAM
■ Internal Unicast Routing Table RAM
■ Multicast Routing Table RAM
