5. RHP packets continue to be sent on the primary interface by Switch A to detect if the ring has
been healed.
From a user perspective, there is no difference in the behavior of the ring. The only noticeable
difference is a rapid convergence in the event of ring failure. There is no CLI command required to
enable this feature.

Master VLANs and customer VLANs in a topology group
All the ring ports must be in the same VLAN. Placing the ring ports in the same VLAN provides Layer
2 connectivity for a given customer across the ring. Figure 69 shows an example.
