Information about configuring IP addresses and connecting a FastIron SX chassis device to other
network devices is covered in the “Connecting Network Devices and Checking Connectivity” section.
Unpacking the system
FastIron SX devices ship with the following items. Review this list and verify the contents:
NOTE
If any items are missing, contact the place of purchase.
• FastIron SX chassis with the following components installed:
‐ One or two 12-volt power supplies
‐ Fan tray assembly or assemblies
‐ Slot panels installed in all unoccupied slots
‐ Two switch fabric modules installed
• Rack Mount Kit (FSX 1600 models only)
• Management module or modules (packaged separately)
• Optional interface modules (packaged separately)
• Warranty card
• A 115V AC power cable for each AC power supply you purchase from Brocade
