Connecting ICX 6450 and ICX 6430 devices in a stack
NOTE
When you are configuring individual stack units, you can skip ID numbers. However, the
sequence in which the units are connected must match the order in which you configure them.
For example, you could configure unit 1 as FCX624, unit 3 as FCX648, unit 4 as FCX624, unit 6
as FCX624 and unit 7 as FCX648. The physical connection order must be: Active (FCX624),
FCX648 (3), FCX624 (4), FCX624 (6) and FCX648 (7). The Active Controller is stack unit 1.
10. Verify your stack configuration by entering the show running config command.

Results for ICX devices are similar, with an equals signe (=) to show connections between trunk
ports, rather than the hyphen symbol (
-) symbol showing connection.
