BR7131N>admin(system.snmp.access)> add

Adds SNMP access entries for specific v1v2 and v3 user definitions.

Syntax

For information on configuring SNMP access settings using the applet (GUI), see “Configuring

SNMP access control” on page 80.

acl

<ip1> <ip2> Adds an entry to the SNMP access control list with <ip1> as the starting IP

address and <ip2> and as the ending IP address.

: comm - community string 1 to 31 characters

: access - read/write access - (ro,rw)

: oid - string 1 to 127 chars - E.g. 1.3.6.1

<user> <access

: user - username 1 to 31 characters

: access - read/write access - (ro,rw)

: oid - string 1 to 127 chars - E.g. 1.3.6.1

: sec - security - (none,auth,auth/priv)

: auth - algorithm - (md5,sha1)

: (required only if sec is - auth,auth/priv)

: pass1 - auth password - 8 to 31 chars

: (required only if sec is 'auth,auth/priv')

: priv - algorithm - (des, aes)

: (required only if sec is 'auth/priv')

: pass2 - privacy password - 8 to 31 chars

: (required only if sec is 'auth/priv')

The following parameters must be specified if <sec> is not none:

Authentication type <auth> set to md5 or sha1

Authentication password <pass1> (8 to 31 chars)

The following parameters must be specified if <sec> is set to auth/priv:

Privacy algorithm set to des or aes

Privacy password <pass2> (8 to 31 chars)
