NOTE
The Adaptive backup type is supported only on the Network OS devices; it is not supported
on the IronWare devices.
- Startup Config Change Trap — Occurs when a startup configuration is changed.
- Re-sync — Occurs when a trap is generated by the device during a startup or running
configuration change, or when a user performs a manual resynchronization of the device
For Network OS devices, Re-sync backup occurs after manual rediscovery of the VCS
cluster member device and when a CLI configuration deployment occurs on the product.
- Manual — Occurs when a user clicks the Save Running/Startup Configuration button.
- Scheduled — Occurs when backups are obtained as the scheduled times.
4. Perform one of the following actions:
Click the Refresh button to update the network and retrieve the latest data from the
database.
Click the View button to compare the contents of the latest configuration and the baseline
configuration. You can view only one configuration at a time.
Click the Export button to export the currently viewed change tracking records to a .csv file.
The default file name is “Change_Tracking_Report.csv.”
5. Click OK to save the configuration.
6. Click Cancel to exit the dialog box.

Message ID Type Description
AG-1006 LOG Access Gateway mode has been enabled or disabled.
AG-1020 LOG Indicates that VF_Port-to-N_Port mapping has been changed because the
switch has come online or some new N_Port or VF_Port has come online.
AG-1041 LOG Information that the specified port group has been deleted.
DCM-1001 LOG Indicates that the VCS ID has been changed.
DCM-1009 LOG Indicates that the RBridge ID has changed to the specified value.
DCM-1011 LOG Indicates that the VCS mode has been enabled.
DCM-1012 LOG Indicates that the VCS mode has been disabled.
DCM-1105 LOG Indicates that the downloaded configuration file has been copied to the
current running configuration.
ELD-1001 LOG Indicates that a loop has been detected by the Edge Loop Detection (ELD)
protocol on the specified interface. The interface has been shut down.
ELD-1002 LOG Indicates that the interface on which a loop was detected has been
auto-enabled based on the configured shutdown time.
ESS-1008 LOG Indicates that the specified fabric name has been configured or renamed.
