NOTE
The Management application enables you to save the same switch configuration to the repository
using two methods: on demand (Configure > Configuration File > Save), on defining a schedule
(Configuration File> Schedule Backup), or by defining the adaptive backup support (Resync or
Adaptive).
To schedule a configuration backup, complete the following steps.
1. Click the IP tab.
2. Select Configure > Configuration File > Schedule Backup.
The Schedule Backup dialog box displays, as shown in Figure 617.

3. Select a backup configuration from the Backup Scheduler list.
4. Click the Edit button.
The Edit Automatic Configuration Backup dialog box displays, as shown in Figure 618.

5. Enter the following information:
• Frequency - The interval at which scheduled tasks are to run. The following schedule types
are available:
• One Time
• Hourly
• Daily
• Weekly
• Monthly
• Yearly
• Time (hh:mm) - The time of day to run the backup. Options include hour, minute, and AM or
PM.
• Minutes past the hour - For hourly backups, select the number of minutes past the hour
from the list.
