unhide fips

Makes available irreversible commands used in enabling Federal Information Processing Standard

(FIPS) compliance.

Synopsis unhide fips

Operands None

Defaults None

Command Modes Privileged EXEC mode

Description Irreversible commands related to enabling FIPS compliance are hidden. Use this command to

make the following hidden commands available: fips root disable, fips selftests, fips selftests, and

prom-access disable.

Usage Guidelines Enter “fibranne” at the Password prompt to run the command.

This command applies only in the standalone mode. This command can be entered only from a

user account with the admin role assigned.

Examples To make available all irreversible commands used in enabling FIP compliance:

switch# unhide fips
