Description For a Fibre Channel link configured with Static Long Distance (LS) mode, use this command to set
the length of the desired long distance. The calculation of buffer-to-buffer credits is based on this
length.
For a long distance Fibre Channel link configured with Dynamic mode (LD), use this command to
set the maximum length to be used in calculating buffer-to-buffer credits. In this mode, the smaller

calculation.
Usage Guidelines This command can be used only on Network OS platforms with Fibre Channel ports
(Brocade VDX 6730-32 and Brocade VDX 6730-76 switches), in Brocade VCS Fabric mode, and
with the FCoE license installed.
Use the no form of this command to disable it.
