Enters hardware configuration mode to enter connector and port-group configuration mode.

Command Modes Privileged EXEC mode
Description Use this command to enter hardware configuration mode. While in this mode you can enter
connector configuration mode for the purpose of configuring breakout mode. You can also enter
port-group configuration mode on supported Brocade VDX 8770 switch line cards to access
options reserved for future use that will configure specific port groups.
