ip igmp snooping mrouter-timeout

Configures the mrouter timeout value for Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping.

Synopsis ip igmp snooping mrouter-timeout seconds

no ip igmp snooping mrouter-timeout

Operands seconds Timeout time in seconds. Valid range is from 1 through 60000 seconds.

Defaults 300 seconds

Command Modes VLAN interface configuration mode

Description Use this command to set the timeout range for when multicast router ports are automatically

learned on a specific VLAN interface.

Usage Guidelines Enter no ip igmp snooping mrouter-timeout to restore the default mrouter value of 300 seconds on

the VLAN interface.

Examples To configure the mrouter timeout value to 600 seconds on a VLAN interface:

switch(config)# interface vlan 100

switch(config-Vlan-100)# ip igmp snooping mrouter-timeout 600
