Globally enables VRRP-Extended.

Synopsis protocol vrrp-extended

no protocol vrrp-extended

Operands None

Defaults Disabled

Command Modes RBridge ID configuration mode (For a switch in standalone mode, this command is available in

global configuration mode.)

Description Enables the VRRP-Extended protocol.

Usage Guidelines The no protocol vrrp-extended command globally disables VRRP-Extended.

Examples To enable VRRP-Extended:

switch# configure

switch (config)# rbridge-id 101

switch(config-rbridge-id-101)# protocol vrrp-extended
