Using additional IGMP commands
The following commands provide additional support for basic IGMP functionality. For details, refer to the
Network OS Command Reference.
Command Description
ip igmp immediate-
leave
Removes a group from the multicast database. Use this command to treat the interface as if
it had one multicast client, so that a receipt of a Leave Group request on the interface
causes the group to be immediately removed from the multicast database.
ip igmp static-
group
Configures the static group membership entries for a specific interface.
