For optimal performance, operate or store your Brocade TurboIron 24X device in compliance with
the following environmental conditions.

Cooling
The TurboIron 24X has three speed-adjustable fans that operate simultaneously. If one fan fails, it
does not affect the operation of the other fans. The cooling fans cool the CPU, main memory, and
voltage regulators. The fans use a pull configuration to intake air from the front left and right sides
through the device and then expel it at the rear of the device as shown in Figure 25.
