are preserved when the clear statistics command is entered on the CLI, if the snmp-server
preserve-statistics command is enabled:

History control group
On the NetIron devices, the history control group controls the periodic statistical sampling of data
from various types of networks. The following objects in the historyControlTable store configuration
entries that each define an interface, polling period, and other parameters:

• historyControlBucketsRequested
• historyControlBucketsGranted
• historyControlInterval
