Ethernet history group

On the NetIron devices, the Ethernet history group records periodic statistical samples from a

network and stores them for later retrieval. The following objects of the group define the

etherHistoryTable for Ethernet networks:

Alarm group

On the NetIron devices, the Alarm group periodically takes statistical samples from variables in the

probe and compares them to thresholds that have been configured. The alarm table stores

configuration entries that each define a variable, polling period, and threshold parameters:

• alarmSampleType

• alarmValue

• alarmStartupAlarm

• alarmRisingThreshold
