Interface statistics

IPv4 interface
Clicking IPv4 under Interfaces displays all the active IPv4 interfaces on the Brocade Virtual ADX.
This tab displays a table listing all active IPv4 connections with their associated values.
IPv4 interface details
Selecting an IPv4 instance on the IPv4 interface tab activates the Details button. Clicking the
Details button opens the IPv4 Interface Details tab.
This tab has a table listing all recorded attributes for that IPv4 connection.

Column Content
Interface Interface used by this IP address.
IP Address IPv4 address of the route's destination.
IP Configured IP address configured. Options are Yes or No.
Method The IP address is saved and entry is NVRAM.
The IP address is not saved and entry is Manual.
Status Status of interface. Options are Up or Down.
Protocol Status of protocol. Options are Up or Down.

Column Content
Port Port that this IP address is connected to.
Status Options are Up (green arrow) or Down (red arrow).
IP Address IPv4 address of the route's destination.
Subnet Mask Subnet mask for this IP address.
Encapsulation How IPv4 encapsulation is being made.
Maximum
Transmission Unit
(MTU)
Size (in bytes) of the largest protocol data unit that this connection can pass onwards.
Metric The value of the route’s MED attribute. If the route does not have a metric, this field is
blank.
Directed Broadcast
Forwarding
Options are Enabled or Disabled.
Proxy ARP Proxy Address Resolution Protocol status. Options are Enabled or Disabled
IP ARP Age Age in minutes of the Address Resolution Protocol cache entry. A value of 0 means that it
was cached less than a minute previously.
Helper Addresses
are configured
Options are Yes or No.
Inbound IP Access

Options are Yes or No.
