IPv6 routing
Clicking the IPv6 button at the bottom of the Routing panel displays the routing information for
interfaces using the IPv6 protocol.
This tab contains a table listing all active IPv6 routing connections with their associated values.
OSPF Routing
Clicking the OSPF button at the bottom of the Routing panel displays the routing information for
interfaces using the OSPF protocol.
This tab has a table listing all the active OSPF routing connections with their associated values.
NOTE
Because there are too many fields to fit legibly in the table, some fields are omitted from the table
and shown instead in a slide-up “Details panel” in the lower half of the page. You can collapse or
expand the table by clicking the in the table’s header.

Column Content
IP Address IPv6 address of the route's destination.
Mask Subnet mask for the IP address.
Next Hop IP address of the next-hop router for this path.
Type The interface type for this IP address (BGP, OSPF, Static)
Router Interface Router interface used by this IP address.
Cost Connection cost for this IP address. (The cost of a route to reach a destination is the sum of
the costs of each link that will be traversed on the way to the destination.)

Column Content
Destination IP address of the route's destination.
Mask Network mask for the route.
Next Hop IP address of the next-hop router for this path.
Adv. Router IP address of the OSPF router that advertised the route to this device.
Link State The link state from which the route was calculated.
Path Cost The cost of this route path. (A route can have multiple paths. Each path represents a
different exit port for the device.)
Path Type The type of path, which can be one of the following:
Inter – The path to the destination passes into another area.
Intra – The path to the destination is entirely within the local area.
External1 – The path to the destination is a type 1 external route.
External2 – The path to the destination is a type 2 external route.
Paths The number of paths to the destination.
