Groups tab
To view the Groups page, perform the following actions in the Configure tab:
1. Click System on the menu bar.
2. From the sidebar, select Device Management.
3. Click SNMP in the sidebar sub-menu to display the SNMP Settings tab.
4. Click the Groups button at the bottom of the window.
The Groups page is displayed. See Figure 37.

The SNMP Groups tab has the following controls. See Table 16.
Perform the following functions in the Groups tab:
• Select a single row in the table to populate the associated editing fields with the contents of
that row.
• Select one or more rows to enable the Delete button and delete groups from the table.

Column Content
Name Displayed group name. Once created, it cannot be altered; it can only be deleted.
Security Model Security model used by this group. Options are V1, V2C, or V3.
V3 Security Level When you select v3, the security level determines whether authentication is required for
accessing the supported views.
• Authentication and Privacy: An authentication password is required from the users
• Authentication: Only authenticated packets are allowed to access the view specified
for the user group.
• None: No authentication is required to access the specified view.
Read Views Allow users who belong to this group to have read access to the MIB. (Optional)
Write Views Allow users who belong to this group to have write access to the MIB. (Optional)
Notify Views Allow trap notifications to be encrypted and sent to target hosts. (Optional)
