3. Click New.
The IP Interface tab is displayed. See Figure 45.

4. Provide the following information:
• Loopback Interface ID: Select an ID number from 1 to 8 to assign to the interface.
• MAC Address: Enter the optional MAC address of the interface.
• Interface name: Enter an optional unique name for the interface.
• Admin Status: Select the Enable check box to enable the interface. By default, the
interface is enabled.
5. Click Apply to save your entries. The Summary page displays the loopback interface with an
lbnumber ID and a Loopback Type, as shown in Figure 46.

Click Reset to revert the configuration to the previous configured values.
