Virtual servers
7
• TCP/UDP: Click one of the following options:
• TCP — To enable only the TCP traffic to pass through the real server.
• UDP — To enable only the UDP traffic to pass through the real server.
• Both — To enable both the TCP and UDP traffic to pass through the real server.
• DSR: For Direct Server Return (DSR), select the following check boxes based on the
requirement:
• Enable — To enable the real server to send the return traffic directly to the client.
• No DSR Fast Delete — To disable DSR fast delete and place the sessions in a deletion
queue upon receiving two FINs from a client. By default, DSR fast delete places a
session in a deletion queue upon receiving the first FIN from a client and deletes the
session in eight seconds instead of the standard two minute FIN session age. Brocade
recommends the default setting.
• Stateless: Select the following check boxes based on the requirement:
• Enable all — To enable stateless operation for both TCP and UDP protocol.
• TCP Transport — To restrict stateless operation to the TCP protocol.
• UDP Transport — To restrict stateless operation to the UDP protocol.
• Disable Hashing — To disable the stateless SLB hashing algorithm for the port.
• CSW: Select the following check boxes based on the requirement:
• Enable — To enable Layer 7 content switching on the virtual server.
• CSW Policy — To select the CSW policy you want to add to the virtual server.
• Custom Health Check: Select a customized health check from the list.
• Port Policy: Select a port policy from the list.
• TCP Age: Specify the number of minutes the Brocade Virtual ADX allows a TCP connection
to remain inactive before closing the connection. The range is from 2 through 60 minutes.
The default value is 30 minutes.
• UDP Age: Specify the number of minutes the Brocade Virtual ADX allows an UDP
connection to remain inactive before closing the connection. The range is from 2 through
60 minutes. The default is 5 minutes. Select the UDP Fast Age and UDP Normal Age check
boxes based on the requirement.
• Syn Proxy MSS: Enter the value for the SYN-Proxy MSS. The range is from 64 through
9126. Note that the SYN-Proxy enabled checkbox for the IP interface must be selected for
this control to be active.
6. Click the Stickiness tab to enable a sticky connection on the TCP or UDP virtual server port.
The Stickiness tab is displayed, as shown in Figure 60.
