License types
When you download the Brocade Virtual ADX software, it does not have a license and is in developer
mode with a maximum throughput of 1 Mbps. Brocade and its suppliers grant to you a limited, non-
exclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable, license to use the licensed features, either software or
hardware or both, solely for internal purposes and solely for the purposes set forth in the Product
documentation. The license(s) obtained by you through execution of License Agreement(s) are subject
to the NSO policies located at www.brocade.com and may include additional limitations. For additional
information, please reference your quote and invoice as well as at www.brocade.com.
The following license types are supported on Brocade Virtual ADX:

• Evaluation License - a non-production license which enables the full features and maximum
performance of Brocade Virtual ADX for a trial period of 60 days from the day of activation.
• Perpetual license - a perpetual license enables all applicable Brocade Virtual ADX software features
to perform based on specified individual throughput levels for an infinite term. A number of
throughput options are available: 10 Mbps, 200 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 3 Gbps, 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps.
Support and software upgrades are not included with a perpetual license and need to be purchased
separately. There are three different types of support which include Essential, Premium, and
