HONDA GROM (2014) PERFORMANCE BOOSTING AIRBOX MODIFICATION
Modification of your air box is recommended in conjunction with installing a Brock's Performance
Exhaust and PCV with Brock's map in order to achieve maximum performance gains.
1. Removal of the airbox from the bike is necessary to perform these modifications. Refer to the factory
service manual for instructions on removing the airbox.
2. Remove the eight (8) screws holding the airbox lid in place. Once you have the lid removed, remove
the one (1) screw holding the air filter in place.
3. Remove the mesh screen on the backside of the air filter. Using a razor blade, carefully remove the four
(4) black plastic rivets holding the screen in place (See Figure 1.)
4. Remove the retaining clip that secures the snorkel into the airbox. Using a drill and a ¼ drill bit, carefully
drill out the two (2) black plastic rivets holding the retaining clip in place. Once the retaining clip is
removed, remove the snorkel (See Figure 2.)
5. Reassemble the airbox in reverse order of disassembly. Refer to the factory service manual for
instructions on reinstalling the airbox.
