Printing from Mac (OS9.x or before)
This chapter shows how to setup your Mac (OS9.x or before) to be able to print through LPV2.
1 Select [Apple Menu] → [Selector]
2 Select "LaserWriter8"
3 Select "WS-xxxxxx-P1"
4 Click "Setting"
Please always select "LaserWriter8" for printing through LPV2 . Other printer driver will not
work with LPV2 correctly.
'xxxxxx" is last 6 digits of LPV2 MAC address.
MAC address is 12 digits of numbers and is labeled on the side of back panel.
5 Click [PPD]
6 Select "Printer Description File"
7 Click "Select"
8 Select Printer Description File for your printer.
<If your printer is not listed in the menu box.>
1.Copy the Printer Description File from your printer driver FD or CD to Desktop
2.Click Desktop and Select the Printer Description File in the window.

Close Selector
You have to re-setup whenever you select a different printer.
