COAL LAYOUT

Stage 1
Place the largest coal matrix firmly
against the back of the stove &
centrally about the mesh burner.
Stage 2
Position the second coal matrix on
top of the first coal matrix and
place firmly to the back of the
stove. Ensure that it is central and
that the largest flat area (marked
REAR) rests against the internal
rear plate.
Stage 3
Place the loose coals across the
centre of the fire, so that they
bridge the gap between the two
coal matrix pieces. These coals
should be rested gently in position.
Do not push them into the gap, as
this will prevent the flames from
burning evenly and effectively.
Ensure there are no loose coals on
top of the matrix that is positioned
over the pilot assembly.
