In case you access the URL beginning with "https://s.brother/" (including, but not limited to, the URL

directed from the QR code attached to Brother’s sewing machines, and the URL of Brother’s website

for customer support contained in manuals for Brother’s products), the browser you use will

automatically display a website operated by Brother, Brother Group Companies, or third party

(“Designated website”) via a webpage operated by Brother (“Brother webpage”).

If you access the Brother webpage, the data regarding your browser such as IP address and

language information (“Data”) will be sent to Brother’s server.

Brother reserves the right to use your Data solely for displaying the page of the Designated website in

the language that you use (“Purpose”). We will not use your Data other than for the Purpose without

your prior consent.

In case that your Data is construed as personal data by laws in the country you live in, Brother will

control your Data in strict accordance with “General Privacy Policy” which is available at Brother’s

Website <https://web.global.brother/aa/privacy.html>.

As for data collection at the Designated website, the terms and conditions and the privacy policy of

the Designated website will be applied.

In case you access the URL directed from the QR code attached to Brother’s sewing machine, the

Designated website operated by Brother Group Companies will be automatically displayed via the

Brother webpage.

The serial number of the Brother’s sewing machine to which the QR code is attached will be

automatically input into the product registration form of the Designated website, however, the serial

number will be held in the browser you use and will not be sent to the server of Brother Group

Company, until you register your data in the Designated website.
