Authenticate Err The FTP user name and password you
entered are incorrect or not configured
correctly.
Confirm that the user name and password are
configured or entered correctly and then try again.
Server Time out — Check the following and then try again.
The network settings are correct.
Your wireless access point/router is turned on.
The remote FTP server is turned on.
The name (or IP address) of the FTP remote
server is correct.
Sending Error
(Scan to FTP)
— Check the following and then try again.
You have writing permission for the destination
folder.
The hard disk containing the destination folder
is not full.
(For example, if the hard disk is full, free some
disk space and then try again.)
Address Book Full
(ADS-1600W only)
The Address Book is full. Delete unnecessary E-mail addresses and then
try again.
Shortcuts Full
(ADS-1600W only)
The maximum number of shortcuts has
been reached.
Delete unnecessary shortcuts and then try again.
Registration Failed
(Shortcut)
(ADS-1600W only)
The maximum number of E-mail
addresses in a shortcut has been
reached.
Delete unnecessary E-mail addresses and then
try again.
Cannot Delete
(ADS-1600W only)
The E-mail address is registered in a
shortcut.
You cannot delete an E-mail address used in a
shortcut. Delete the shortcut first, and then try
again.
No Profile set
(ADS-1600W only)
No Scan to FTP profile or Scan to
Network profile is registered.
Configure the Scan to FTP profile or the Scan to
Network profile before using Scan to FTP or Scan
to Network. See

Error Cause Action
