8 Configure the following settings:

Log on to change the Machine Settings using the Machine’s Control Panel 4
NOTE
When LDAP Authentication is enabled, the machine’s control panel will be locked until you enter your User
ID and password on the machine’s control panel.
1 On the machine’s control panel, use the Touchscreen to enter your User ID and Password.
2 Press OK.
3 When authentication is successful, the machine’s control panel will be unlocked.
Option Description
Remember User ID Select this option to save your user ID.
LDAP Server Address Type the IP address or the server name (for example: ad.example.com) of the
LDAP Server.
Get Mail Address Select this option to obtain your machine’s email address from LDAP server.
LDAP Server Port Type the LDAP server port number.
LDAP Search Root Type the LDAP search root.
Attribute of Name (Search Key) Type the attribute you want to use as a search key.
