The colour of your printouts is
not what you expected
To improve the colour density, calibrate the colours using first the control
panel and then the printer driver (see Colour Calibration on page 111).
To adjust the print position of colours for sharper edges, perform the colour
registration using the control panel (see Colour Registration on page 112).
Make sure toner save mode is off in the control panel or the printer driver.

If the print quality is poor, clear the Improve Grey Colour check box of the
printer driver. See Improve Grey Colour in Settings dialog box on page 36

If the print quality of the black portion is not what you expected, select the
Enhance Black Printing check box of the printer driver. See Enhance

Identify the colour causing the problem and put in a new toner cartridge
(see Replacing the toner cartridges on page 123). To identify the colour of

Install a new drum unit (see Replacing the drum unit on page 128).
Colour misregistration
Make sure that the machine is on a solid level surface.
Perform the colour registration using the control panel (see Colour
Registration on page 112).
Install a new drum unit (see Replacing the drum unit on page 128).
Install a new belt unit (see Replacing the belt unit on page 135).
