Coloured lines across the page

 Identify the colour causing the problem and replace the toner cartridge that

matches the colour of the line (see Replacing the toner cartridges

on page 127).

 Install a new drum unit (see Replacing the drum unit on page 133).

White spots or hollow print

 Make sure that the media type setting in the printer driver matches the type

of paper you are using (see Acceptable paper and other print media

on page 2).

 Check the machine’s environment. Conditions such as high humidity can

cause hollow print (See the Product Safety Guide).

 If the problem is not solved after printing a few pages, the drum may have

foreign material, such as glue from a label, stuck on the drum surface. Clean

the drum unit (see Cleaning the drum unit on page 163).

 Install a new drum unit (see Replacing the drum unit on page 133).

Blank page or some colours are

missing

 Identify the colour causing the problem and put in a new toner cartridge

(see Replacing the toner cartridges on page 128). To identify the colour of

Coloured spots at 94mm

 If the problem is not solved after printing a few pages, the drum may have
