Scan to USB 12
You can scan black & white and colour documents directly to a USB Flash memory drive. Black and white
documents will be stored in the TIFF (*.TIF), PDF (*.PDF), PDF/A (*.PDF), Secure PDF (*.PDF) or Signed
PDF (*.PDF) file formats. Colour documents may be stored in JPEG (*.JPG), PDF (*.PDF), PDF/A (*.PDF),
Secure PDF (*.PDF), Signed PDF (*.PDF) or XPS (*.XPS) file formats. The default file names are based on
the current date. You can change the colour, quality and file name.
Note
• PDF/A, Secure PDF, Signed PDF and XPS file formats are not available to countries subject to applicable
export regulations.
• PDF/A is a PDF file format intended for long-term archiving. This format contains all the necessary
information for reproducing the document after long-term storage.

Guide).

your machine) into your browser.
