Are there any obstructions
(walls or furniture, for
example) between your
machine and the wireless
access point/router?
wireless Move your machine to an obstruction-free area, or closer to the wireless
access point/router.
Is there a wireless
computer, Bluetooth
supported device,
microwave oven or digital
cordless phone near the
machine or the wireless
access point/router?
wireless Move all the devices away from the machine or wireless access point/router.
The machine cannot print or scan over the network.
The machine is not found on the network even after successful installation.

Confirming the IP address and the Subnet Mask
Verify that both the IP addresses and Subnet Masks of your computer
and the Brother machine are correct and located on the same network.
For more information on how to verify the IP address and the Subnet
Mask, ask the network administrator or visit the Brother Solutions Center
at http://solutions.brother.com/

If you cannot print to your machine over the network, and the network
setting confirmation screen appears, do one of the following.
• Follow the on-screen instructions, and if the problem is solved, click
Complete.
• If the problem is not solved, click Next, and follow the on-screen
instructions. The Network connection repair tool will automatically
start and try to correct your network printing problem.

If the User Account Control screen appears,

) Click Continue.

7) Click Yes.
When you have completed the instructions click on Print Test Page
from the tool. The test page will confirm the network connection to the
machine is working.
The machine is not found on the network during the MFL-Pro Suite installation. (continued)
