This chapter explains how to print from a Macintosh on a Network using the Simple Network Configuration
capabilities on Mac OS X 10.4.11 - 10.6.x.

For Mac OS X 10.4.11 8
a Turn on the machine by plugging in the power cord.
b From the Go menu, choose Applications.
c Open the Utilities folder.
d Double-click the Printer Setup Utility Icon.
e Click Add.
f Choose Brother MFC-XXXX (XXXX is your model name), and then click Add.
g Click the printer, then click Make Default to set the printer as the default printer. The printer is now ready.
