Setup to receive delayed polling 4
Delayed polling lets you set the machine to
begin polling receive at a later time. You can
only set up one delayed polling operation.
a Do one of the following:
When Fax Preview is set to Off,
press (Fax).
When Fax Preview is set to On, press
(Fax) and then
(Sending Faxes).
b Press Options.
c Swipe up or down, or press a or b to
display Polling RX.
d Press Polling RX.
e Press Timer.
f Do one of the following:
If you have set 12h Clock as the
format in the Clock Type setting,
enter the time (in 12-hour format)
using the keyboard on the
Touchscreen, and then press AM or
PM.
Press OK.
If you have set 24h Clock in the
Clock Type setting, enter the time
(in 24-hour format) using the
keyboard on the Touchscreen.
Press OK.
(For example, enter 19:45 for
7:45 PM.)
g Enter the fax number you are polling by
either using Address Book or the dial
pad on the Touchpanel.
h Press Fax Start.
The machine makes the polling call at
the time you entered.
Sequential polling
(Monochrome only)

Sequential polling lets you request
documents from several fax machines in one
operation.
a Do one of the following:
When Fax Preview is set to Off,
press (Fax).
When Fax Preview is set to On, press
(Fax) and then
(Sending Faxes).
b Press Options.
c Swipe up or down, or press a or b to
display Polling RX.
d Press Polling RX.
e Press Standard, Secure or Timer.
f Do one of the following:
If you chose Standard, go to
step g.
If you chose Secure, enter a four-
digit number, press OK, go to step g.
If you chose Timer, do one of the
following:
• If you have set 12h Clock in the
Clock Type setting, enter the
time (in 12-hour format) by
pressing the keyboard on the
Touchscreen, and then press AM
or PM.
Press OK, go to step g.
• If you have set 24h Clock in the
Clock Type setting, enter the
time (in 24-hour format) by
pressing the keyboard on the
Touchscreen.
Press OK, go to step g.
(For example, enter 19:45 for
7:45 PM.)
