r Once the drum has been selected, place
one hand on the drum gear and at the
other end of that drum place your other
hand on the edge, then rotate the drum
slowly towards you while looking at the
surface of the suspected area.
IMPORTANT
• To avoid print quality problems, DO NOT
touch the surface of the drum unit with
your bare hands.
• DO NOT clean the surface of the
photosensitive drum with a sharp object or
any liquids.
s When you have found the mark on the
drum that matches the drum dot check
sheet, wipe the surface of the drum
gently with a cotton swab until the mark
on the surface comes off.
