Changing the Configuration
From a Macintosh, the easiest way to change the
machine
or Print/
Fax server parameters is to use a web browser.
Simply connect to the
machine
using the format: http://
ip_address where ip_address is the address of the
machine
.

Configuration capabilities of Mac OS
®
X
Simple Network Configuration lets you create an instant network of
computers and smart devices just by connecting them to each other.
The Simple Network Configuration capabilities on a Macintosh
®
running OS X allows the Print/Fax server to automatically configure
its IP address settings.
Please note that Brother recommends that you use Mac OS
®
X
10.2.4 or later version.
