CONNECTING TO YOUR Macintosh
®
When the installation of P-touch Editor, P-touch Quick Editor and Printer Driver is completed,
connect your P-touch labeler to Macintosh
®
by using the USB cable.
After connecting the P-touch labeler to your Macintosh
®
, turn on the P-touch labeler and double
click the drive where Mac OS
®
X is installed, and click Applications → Utilities → Printer Setup
Utility (Print Center). The Printer List Screen is displayed. Click
[Add] (Add Printer). Click [USB] ,
"PT-2700", and
[Add] . Check that "PT-2700" appears in the list, and close the Printer List Screen.
USING HELP
Help gives you detailed instructions for creating labels with your P-touch software.
On P-touch Editor:
• To view Help, double click the Applications folder in the drive and double click P-touch Editor
3.2 folder → Help → MAIN.HTM
• To view the user’s guide, insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive and display the PT-2700
screen, and double click P-touch Editor 3.2 folder → User’s Guide folder → main.htm.
(If you wish to install the user’s guide to your Applications folder, double click the installer inside
the User’s Guide folder.)
On P-touch Quick Editor:
• On the Quick Editor screen, point the cursor to "Help" on the taskbar and click on
"P-touch Quick Editor Help."
UNINSTALLING THE P-TOUCH EDITOR / QUICK EDITOR
P-touch Editor:
• Double click on the Applications folder, and then double click P-touch Editor3.2 → Uninstall
P-touch Editor → Uninstall P-touch Editor.
• Delete files "P-touch Editor 3.2 Prefs" and "P-touch Editor 3.2.plist" in the following location:
Macintosh HD → Users → user name → Library → Preferences.
P-touch Quick Editor:
• Double click on the Applications folder, and then double click P-touch Quick
Editor → Uninstall Quick Editor → Uninstall Quick Editor.
• Delete file "P-touch Quick Editor Prefs" in the following location:
Macintosh HD → Users → user name → Library → Preferences.
Note : If you wish to delete the program of Printer Driver, delete files"
PT2700PDE.plugin" and "PT2700PM.plugin" in the following location:
Macintosh HD → Library → Printers → Brother.
Connect to P-touch
USB port.
Connect to Macintosh
®
USB port.
