Remove the presser foot holder when cleaning the sewing machine or when installing a presser foot that does not use the presser foot holder, such as the quilting foot. Use the screwdriver to remove the presser foot holder. CONTENTS The amount of pressure that the presser foot applies to the fabric can be adjusted. This is useful when sewing fabrics that are hard to feed such as vinyl and leather and when sewing fabrics that easily slip such as velvets or when quilting. The optional wide table makes sewing large pieces of fabric easier. Pull the flat bed attachment off to the left. Open up the legs at the bottom of the wide 1 table.
Turn the screw at the bottom of the legs to 4 adjust their height. ● The knee lifter can be stored attached to the bottom of the wide table. Maintenance Cleaning the machine surface Sewing performance will suffer if dust collects in the shuttle; therefore, it should be cleaned periodically. 1 Turn off the sewing machine. GETTING READY If the surface of the machine is dirty, lightly soak a cloth in neutral detergent, squeeze it out firmly, and then wipe the surface of the machine. After cleaning it once with a wet cloth, wipe it again with a dry cloth.
