Adjusting Text Properties
The Properties Panel appears on the right of the workspace. The
Properties Panel allows you to modify various properties of the
currently selected text segment. You can use this area of the panel to
change text itself, choose a font, and select the height, alignment, and
spacing of the letters.
The properties that you will see displayed will be slightly different
depending on which type of text (Normal, Circle or Monogram) is
currently selected.
Changing the Lettering
As well as being able to type directly on the screen (see appropriate
sections under “Creating Text”), you can also input your text by typing
in into the Text field on the Properties Panel. Note, however, that there
is some variation on what you can type, depending on which kind of
Frame is selected. For example, multi-line text segments can only be
entered when a Normal Text frame is selected, and Upper and Lower
text fields are only visible when a Circle Text frame is selected.
The property fields you see in the text area may be different,
depending on which kind of text frame is selected; for example, when
a Circle frame is selected, this area will show two places where you
can input text, labelled ‘Upper’ and ‘Lower’.
