yourbuilding,careshouldbetakentocontrolhumiditylevelswithinthe35–55%range.Toprotectyour
investmentandtoassurethatyourfloorsprovidelastingsatisfaction,wehaveprovidedour
recommendationsbelow.
HeatingSeason(Dry):Ahumidifierisrecommendedtopreventexcessiveshrinkagein
hardwoodfloorsduetolowhumiditylevels.Woodstovesandelectricheattendtocreatevery
dryconditions.
NonHeatingSeason(Humid,Wet):Properhumiditylevelscanbemaintainedbyuseofanair
conditioner,dehumidifier,orbyturningonyourheatingsystemperiodicallyduringthesummer
months.Avoidexcessiveexposuretowaterfromtrackingduringperiodsofinclementweather.
Donotobstructinany,waytheexpansionjointaroundtheperimeterofyourfloor.
N OTE:Finalinspectionbytheendusershouldoccurfromastandingposition.
