Never light a burner under an empty boiler. After filling system with water, bleed all air from the radiators. Add water and bleed again. Repeat as necessary until system is free of air. Open all valves on water supply and- return lines.

It functions to give a constant gas pressure to the burners during all main line gas pressure fluctuations. This regulator is factory adjusted to produce 3" manifold pressure.
