Plug the mains power cable into the socket marked back of the Parent unit charger. on the 2. Remove the battery compartment cover and insert the 2 x AA rechargeable batteries into the battery compartment on the Parent unit and replace the battery compartment cover as shown. You should always ensure you have inserted batteries in the Parent unit.

The charge capacity of rechargeable batteries will reduce with time as they wear out, so reducing the performance time of the Parent unit. Eventually they will need to be replaced. New batteries can be obtained from the BT Baby Monitor Helpline 0808 100 6554*.
