To switch off the handset lock
• Press the MENU button.
• Press the
DOWN button highlight
HANDSET LOCK
• Press the
OK button.
• Enter the handset PIN number
(default = 0000)
• Press the
OK button.
• Press the
DOWN button to highlight
LOCK ON/OFF
• Press the
OK button. Display shows
a closed lock icon.
• Press the
OFF button. Display shows
an open lock icon.
• Press the
OK button.
Short Cuts
You can use the short cut menu to
reduce the number of keypad presses
required to operate a number of
functions. Short cuts work with Diverse
1010, 1015, 2010 and 2015 base stations.
The pre-set short cuts
The short cuts you are most likely to
need are already contained in a menu
and listed below. You must store these
pre-set shortcuts in the memory before
they can be used. This is because short
cuts take up some of the memory
which you may prefer to use for storing
names and numbers in the phone book.

When scrolling through the handset
lock menu you will see the display (DSS)
NUMBER. Under no circumstances
should you try to amend or store this
number as this may stop you from
dialling emergency numbers when the
handset is locked.
